Common questions
What does "out-of-network" mean for me?
Many PPO and POS plans pay for care from out-of-network doctors. Your share is usually a deductible plus coinsurance, which can be higher than in-network care. We check your exact benefits and give you an estimate first, so you can decide with the full picture.
Do I need a referral?
Most PPO and Medicare patients don't. Some plans require a referral from your primary care doctor, and we can help you request one.
I was in a car accident. Am I covered?
We accept New Jersey PIP (personal injury protection) and work directly with your auto insurer and your attorney, if you have one.
Omega Joint & Spine Centers is an out-of-network provider for commercial health plans. Your out-of-pocket costs may be higher than with an in-network provider. You may request an estimate of your costs before any non-emergency care.
Coverage varies by plan. Benefit verification is not a guarantee of payment. Patients are responsible for copays, coinsurance and deductibles under their plan.
